Who does the Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary benefit?

Rotary Club of La Grange organizes the Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary as a fundraiser for local community initiatives, with race proceeds going to the Rotary Club of LaGrange Foundation. The race has supported many causes over its 23-year history. Examples include scholarships for high school students, funding for health centers, mental health awareness initiatives and numerous other charitable activities.

By participating in the Pilgrim Pie Run your registration is helping support our local community initiatives.

Can I donate to the race's charity without registering for the race?

When do I need to arrive on race day?

The race starts promptly at 8:30 AM, so we encourage to be in the starting corral ready to run by 8:15 AM.

What is the race day timeline?

  • 6:30 – 8:00 AM: Race day packet pickup and race registration* open
  • 8:10 AM Pre Race warm up led by Pilgrim Pie Sponsor Just Lift Fitness: Flexibility, mobility, and dynamic warm up movements to get you ready to run or walk! 
  • 8:30 AM: Start of the 21st Annual Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary
  • 9:30 AM: Awards presentation inside the Fieldhouse

*Race Day registration will only be available on your own device. Registration kiosks will not be provided at race site. Must register before 8am on race morning.

What is the location of the race? 

The Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary winds through the tree-lined streets of mid-village La Grange, a scenic course you don't want to miss!

What is the race swag?

  • All participants (in-person and virtual) will receive a long sleeve performance t-shirt
  • Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary participants will have their choice of either (2) Sara Lee Cyrus 7-oz mini cream pies (choice of 3 flavors) or (1) 12-inch Home Run Inn frozen pizza (choice of 3 flavors), distributed race morning, while supplies last! Follow this link for great ideas how your Thanksgiving leftovers can be toppings for your pizza.
  • Your virtual race packet will mailed to your front door. It includes a Long sleeve performance t-shirt and gift card for one (1) 12-inch frozen pizza from Home Run Inn! Follow this link for great ideas how your Thanksgiving leftovers can be toppings for your pizza.
  • Virtual participants will also be able to upload their time to a virtual leaderboard and post photos to the event gallery (instructions will be emailed in November)

What are packet pickup options?

*First hour on Tuesday typically features the longest lines and wait times.
*Wednesday afternoon is the lightest.
*Race day packet pickup and registration is not recommended due to high volume of participants. It is    recommended to pick-up your packet in advance if possible. 

What are the race awards categories?

Overall male & female champions and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male and female age group winners

*Any trophy not picked up will NOT be awarded unless special arrangements have been made with race organizers.

Is there a gear check?

Yes! Gear check area is at the east end of the fieldhouse lobby in the high school.  Please note the following instructions:

  • You are required to utilize your own bag, and you must mark your bag with your bib number in some way (i.e., Bib number written with Sharpie on a bag, piece of tape with your bib number taped on backpack, etc.). 
  • Participants leave items at your own risk. Neither the Rotary Club of La Grange nor Lyons Township H.S. are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. 
  • All gear much be picked up by 10 AM

Can I bring my dog to this race? 

You can bring your dog but they are discouraged because of the large number of people. If you do bring your dog, it must be on a leash at all times and we ask that you start the race at the rear of the corral.  

Are strollers permitted?

Yes! This is a family friendly event. For your and all participants safety, we ask that if you have a stroller to please start the race at the rear of the corral and stay to the right side of the road throughout the course.

Will there be an aid/water station on the course? 

Yes, there is 1 aid/water station will be at the course midpoint.

What happens if the race has to be cancelled for whatever reason? 

All registrants should understand that registrations are nonrefundable under any circumstances, as per the waiver agreed to during the registration process.  In the event that the 2023 Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary cannot be held as a live event, all registrations will be converted to a virtual race format in which registrants can participate at time and place of their choosing. EnMotive will mail race packets to registrants at the address provided during registration at a to be determined date(s).

What happens if I cannot participate in the race?

All registrants should understand that registrations are nonrefundable under any circumstances, as per the waiver agreed to during the registration process.  However, you CAN transfer your entry to another participant by November 09, 2023, transfer feature will not refund transferrer or charge transferee. Please contact help@enmotive.com for more information. If you are unable to participate in the event and do not transfer your registration, your registration fee will go to the La Grange Rotary Foundation as a donation. 

What is our COVID-19 policy?

We are committed to your health and safety. To keep everyone at the event safe, we ask that you follow guidelines outlined by the Chicago and Illinois Department of Public Health Guidance. Additionally, we require all participants to review and agree to the COVID-19 waiver during the registration process.

All registrants should understand that registrations are nonrefundable under any circumstances, as per the waiver agreed to during the registration process.  However, you CAN transfer your entry to another participant by November 09, 2023, transfer feature will not refund transferrer or charge transferee. Please contact help@enmotive.com for more information. If you are unable to participate in the event and do not transfer your registration, your registration fee will go to the La Grange Rotary Foundation as a donation. 

I'm a virtual participant. What will I receive?

How do I update personal information within my account?

  1. Login to your EnMotive account>> https://enmotive.com/users/account
  2. You can change all personal information here i.e.: email, password, address etc. 

Please note: If you need to change your name or birthdate you must contact help@enmotive.com to get this updated

Can I register more than one person under my account?

Yes! You can register as many people as you want under your account. You can do so by selecting the 'register another person' option on the last page of registration, or you can start a new registration and enter your email as the account holder.

I have a coupon code! Where do I enter this?

Any coupon code you have will be entered on the last page of registration before you submit your credit card information.
